Our History
Hinds Transport began in 1957 when Harold Arthur Hinds purchased a 1947 Austin truck to haul sugar cane during harvest season. What started as a modest family business soon expanded to meet Barbados’ growing transportation needs.
Throughout our history, we’ve maintained the same values that guided Harold Hinds: honesty, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.

Consultant and Director
With over 40 years in the transport industry, Dave served as Managing Director from 2013, overseeing all company operations during this period with a focus on fleet modernization and customer service excellence. His hands-on leadership style and deep understanding of Barbados’ logistics challenges continue to drive our continued growth.
Managing Director
Kristina assumed the role of Managing Director in August 2025 bringing two decades of diverse experiences in academia, consulting, research and analysis, and politics; a decade of which comprised leadership and management roles. She oversees company operations to continue its modernization and expansion trajectory.
